Now that the Patriots have taken down their toughest scheduled foe, the undefeated season talk is legit. A perfect season is a feat to be admired even if the perfection is futility. New England is trying to become the greatest team in NFL history, but the Dolphins and Rams are battling to be the worst ever.
Here’s how I see the rest of the season playing out for New England, Miami, and St. Louis.
New England Patriots remaining schedule:
Bye week: A blessing from the league. A break after the biggest game of the season, and a chance to re-charge for the 16-0 run.
@ Buffalo: A two touchdown victory.
Philadelphia: A massacre.
@ Baltimore: 4 weeks from now the Ravens will be looking for the off season.
Pittsburgh: Could be a tough game, but it’s in Foxboro.
NY Jets: Mangini blew the whistle on Belicheat. He should expect a severe beatdown.
Miami: The Pats gave up 28 points to the Fins in the first game. They’ll be going for a shutout in this one.
@ NY Giants: If the record is on the line, the Pats will go for it. The G-men will probably need this game for playoff positioning, and they’ll have the added motivation of stopping New England, but it won’t matter. New England Patriots 16-0
The Miami Dolphins are 0-8 but let’s be realistic. They had road games at Washington, NYJ, and Houston that they lost by 3 points, and they lost by 10 in Cleveland. Their home games have been Dallas, Oakland, New England, and the NYG (in England). Miami’s bad but they should win a game or two.
The Miami Dolphins remaining schedule:
Buffalo: I wouldn’t be shocked if Miami won this game.
@Philadelphia: The Eagles are terrible but they should be a field goal better than the Dolphins.
@Pittsburgh: No chance.
NY Jets: A possible Kellen Clemens/Cleo Lemon match-up.. That’s if Miami hasn’t gone to John Beck. A win is within reason.
@Buffalo: A close loss, but the Dolphins had better hope they’ve picked up a win before this game.
Baltimore: Ravens win a crappy game.. Something like 15-9, or 12-6.
@New England: No.
Cincinnati: The Marvin Lewis is getting fired talk will be in full effect. Cincy pulls out the game to save his job.. Miami Dolphins 2-14
The Greatest Show On Turf has the chance to become the Biggest Joke of all time. Losses by 1 (San Francisco), 3 (Arizona), and 7 (Cleveland) represent the only games the Rams have lost by less than double digits. All 3 of the games were at home, and two of those teams are 100% garbage.
The St. Louis Rams remaining schedule:
@New Orleans: The Saints seem to have it turned around. Ass whoopin waitin.
@San Francisco: Oh so close.. But a loss.
Seattle: The Seahawks are weak, but they won’t lose this game.
Atlanta: The game that will prevent the Rams from going down in history.
@Cincinnati: Even when the Rams couldn’t stop anybody, they could still out score people. Now they can’t stop anybody and they can’t score. The Bengals should beat them by 7.
Green Bay: Snowball’s chance in hell.
Pittsburgh: Football’s chance in Europe.
@Arizona: If the Rams are sitting on 0-15, they’ll go all out and possibly win. It would be very Arizona Cardinal to let the Rams off the hook. St. Louis Rams 1-15

Pats have a great chance to go 16-0. I believe they will face Indy again for the AFC Championship game. They will win that game too.
They will more than likely face Dallas for the Super Bowl.
Pats Super Bowl Champs!!!

Even if the Pats don’t go 16-0, of which they are completely capable, they’ll definitely take the Super Bowl!
The Dolphins, however, will not win any games.
