Stephon Marbury, the permanently benched point guard for the New York Knicks, joined the Kiss Wake Up Club to talk about his Starbury line of shoes and what’s going on between him and the organization. Steph says he has no beef with the Knicks and he wouldn’t mind landing with the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, or Boston Celtics.
I hear ya Steph.. Who wouldn’t wanna play for two of the teams that are most likely to win the title this year and if that doesn’t work out go chill on South Beach?
So how do you feel about Mike D’Antoni and Donnie Walsh?
Marbury doesn’t come straight out and say the coach and the GM lied to me, but he’s pretty damn close. I don’t see the Knicks’ point in all of this. They could’ve done something with Stephon over the summer but they held out for some unknown reason. Then when he doesn’t want to deal on their terms they’re pissed. I can’t be sure but it looks like emotions are getting in the way of business.
