Trailing 23-20 with less than a minute to go in the Super Bowl, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger found Santonio Holmes in the corner of the end zone for the go ahead touchdown. The play will go down as one of the greatest in Super Bowl history.
The Super Bowl MVP could have been shared by Roethlisberger and Holmes but I’m not mad at the choice of Santonio. He produced big play after big play when his team needed him and that catch in triple coverage was incredible.
I was sitting on my couch in front of the tv with my eyes zoomed in on the last drive for my steelers when they went up for the go ahead score in Super Bowl 43.
