President Obama threw out the first pitch for the 2009 MLB All-Star Game while wearing a Chicago White Sox jacket and getting booed off the field. Good thing he got the ball to home plate. There might have been a riot.
They weren’t booing.. They were simply shortening Obama’s name to his initials.. With extra emphasis on the “O”. It might have been the White Sox jacket. It might have been the fact that there was a black man in the White Sox jacket. But the heartland spoke. President Obama better hope the AP edits out the boos like they did for George Bush.
