By now you’ve all heard about New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress going Suge Knight (??) and accidentally shooting himself in the leg. Plax is going to turn himself in to New York police on a criminal weapon charge later today, and plans to enter a “Not guilty” plea.
In the meantime, somebody has recorded an ode to Burress and his problems over 50 Cent’s “In da Club” beat.
“You can find me in the club playing with a gun, yo I gotta miss a practice I’m picking up my son.” It’s not too often that somebody getting shot is funny but that line makes me laugh. I don’t know how this is gonna end but this has to be the longest, strangest year in Plaxico Burress’ life. Last February he was catching the game winning TD in the Super Bowl, now he could go to jail for shooting himself. At least Mike Vick’s prison football team now has a go to receiver.
