When the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals say something I usually don’t pay attention. That’s because they’re pulling some dumb stunt like wanting to have Michael Vick’s brain scanned, or exhibiting a love for animals that borders on illegal. But this time is different.
PETA shot a commercial for the Super Bowl which was rejected by NBC (NBC’s reasons for the rejection are here.) If we can’t watch women kissing vegetables on Super Sunday I’m not sure I want to watch the game at all.
Since everybody and their baby’s mama is talking about/has seen the video it doesn’t matter if it runs during the Super Bowl or not. Since it won’t be shown PETA should roll out the WU for another Vegan spot.
