• The Boston Bruins’ Milan Lucic shatters the glass with a huge hit

Special thanks to Red Light District for this video of Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic checking Mike Van Ryn of the Toronto Maple Leafs through the glass at the TD Banknorth Garden.

The weird thing about the hit is that it fired up Mike Van Ryn and the Maple Leafs. Toronto was trailing 2-0 in the second period when Van Ryn got blasted. After the glass was replaced Van Ryn scored the Maple Leafs’ first goal of the game, and they went on to a 4-2 victory. A victory that nobody’s gonna remember because of Mike Van Ryn getting checked through the glass.

Milan Lucic better enjoy this moment while he can because the word on the street says NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is investigating the hit and is leaning towards a fine and suspension for Lucic.
