The Philadelphia Eagles knocked the Minnesota Vikings out of the playoffs with a 26-14 victory on Sunday in Minneapolis; sealing the game with a 71-yard screen play to Brian Westbrook. The game was 16-14 at the half, and remained that way until 6:37 in the fourth quarter when Westbrook broke loose.
That TD put the game away for the Eagles and probably caused owner Jeff Lurie to punch his wife instead of slapping her.
Philly’s victory gives them a date with the NY Giants in New Jersey on Sunday. It’s the third time the two teams will play this season and so far the road the team has won each game. As an Iggles apologist, I gotta hope that trend continues.

Was westbrook the Sproles of this game? Sorry, I am a charger fan, and was happy to see him play. Westbrook did pretty well this game, but not like Sproles. I was able to get pictures so maybe I am biased… congrats Eagles, you etched this one out…
