I gotta jump and bump The Hoop Doctors for hooking up this video of Kendrick Perkins slamming Jason Maxiell to the ground. Perkins was whistled for a flagrant foul and ejected from the game.
I was watching the game when this happened and I kept expecting Ron Artest to run onto the court.. It never happened. As a matter of fact, the players, refs, and coaches handled the situation exactly as they should’ve handled the Malice at the Palace. Of course, Tim Donaghy wasn’t working the game and no jackass threw beer on the players.
Overated foul, Flagrant 1 maybe on Celtics guy. Back in my day you take the hit and get back on defense and return the favor. Pistons guy was embarrassed and retaliated. Human Nature.
