The Philadelphia Eagles clinched the final playoff spot in the NFC by embarrassing the Dallas Cowboys 44-6 Sunday in Philly. Nobody was more excited than Eagles owner Jeff Lurie who celebrated by hi-fiving his wife’s face.
It was obviously an accident.. Or Lurie told somebody “If Brent Celek scores a touchdown I’ll slap my wife!”.. Or maybe he went crazy for a second due to an impossible combination of events putting the Eagles into the playoffs. There was no way Oakland was gonna travel cross country and beat Tampa Bay, Chicago was gonna lose to Houston, and the Eagles would beat the Cowboys. But that’s why they play the games, any given Sunday, blah blah blah. As an Eagle fan, keeping the Cowboys out of the playoffs in a humiliating fashion was the real prize, the playoff berth was the cherry on top.

Haha, seems that he was just too excited.
The Eagles are ranked fourth defensively against the run, and allowed just one carry of 40-plus yards all season. They’ll contain RB Adrian Peterson just enough so they can come after and pressure QB Tarvaris Jackson into critical mistakes in his first playoff start. /Cool widgets at statbeast. Check it.

I’m not a football fan and I don’t even know the Philadelphia Eagles will be playing in any future games…But it is my greatest hope that whoever they play will target Michael Vick and slap him around and make him the object of unnecessary roughness. What a horrible world we live in when ‘fans’ rejoice and cheer at his comeback…I wonder if they understand that the word ‘fan’ is derived from the word ‘fanatic’? But in this case for all those fans who admire him; forgive and forget how that evil monster tortured and inhumanly killed dogs and countless bait animals in his quest for “fun”, the term ‘lunatic fanatics’ fits them much better! I wonder how many of these Vick lover’s have seen the pictures of the demented “fun” he had with those poor animals?? I highly doubt many of them have read about the horrible abuse, as I highly doubt they can even read! Any thinking, caring, sane person who is capable of telling ‘right from wrong’…’good from evil’ could not do that to an animal! May Michael Vick rest in HELL where he belongs! With Jeff Lurie right alongside of him!
