Winning a conference championship in any sport is rightfully met by celebration, and the occasional slip of the tongue by an athlete on live television. Greg Lloyd slipped up after the Pittsburgh Steelers clinched the 1995 AFC Championship with a win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Greg Lloyd did a few more minutes of interview, but I cut it to include the studio reaction. I think Greg Gumble handled it the right way.. Make a small comment and move on. Greg Lloyd’s a bad man and if he wants to cuss on the air it’s best to go ahead and let him.
