Not since Pacman “I tear da club up” Jones has there been a professional athlete with such an appropriate nickname as Glen “Big Baby” Davis of the Boston Celtics. Big Baby got chewed out, along with the rest of the second string, by Kevin Garnett and whatever KG was spittin’ made Big Baby sit and cry on the bench.
Daaamn homie.. Everybody knows that KG gets wound up for a game more than any player in the league and his intensity can be overwhelming for teammates, but damn. I don’t remember KG making Bill Curley, Tom Hammond, Dean Garrett, Latrell Sprewell, Terrell Brandon, Eddie Griffin, Fred Hoiberg, Stephon Marbury, Vin Baker, Michael Olowokandi or anybody else he played with cry… And Gabe Pruitt should get into poker when he’s done with basketball. His ability to sit there and show no emotion when you know he wants to bust out laughing at Big Baby.

I watched the game last night and I know emotions run deep, but it is only a game. Glenn Davis is a grown man and for him to get upset over some words by his teammate Kevin Garnett is absurd. This is Garnett’s 14th season, he is a perennial all-star and a future hall of famer. Big Baby should be glad he has a teammate like him.

Well first of all its not what you say its how you say it. Some people are not able to take verbal abuse. When I played basktball I was an emotional person. I was the captain so I had to pumpn my team mates up not tear them down. Grown or not grown, Man or boy, he is a human an he has a feelings.
