As far as I can tell the cameraman wanted to get a few words with semi-retired baseball player David Wells, but Boomer wasn’t in the mood because a member of the paparazzi dropped a motherfucker on him the night before.
Seeing that the interview was slipping away, Dru Diamond asked Boomer about flipping off the New York Yankees fans back in the day leading to the classic line: I remember that finger bro. Shortly after hearing that Wells decided he was done with the conversation. Either that or he was out of breath from loading all of his wife’s bags.
