Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum celebrated his 21st birthday as any 21-year-old millionaire would. He hit the club and made it rain dollar bills on hordes of hopeful groupies. Props to Lakers 4 Life for the video and like they said, hopefully Bynum’s maturing as he gets older. This video says the answer is not yet.

I’m not against a guy going to the club and throwing his money around. If somebody wants to shoot money and champagne into the crowd and signal to the stickup kids “Hey I’m over here”, let ‘em. But young Andrew needs to earn the right to get robbed before he’s out getting his Pacman Jones on.

And I’m sure the Lakers are gonna be pissed off about this video. They didn’t want a 17 or 18-year-old Andrew Bynum to have a MySpace page, and now he’s on YouTube making it rain. Calling things gay and coming across as an ordinary dumbass teenager wasn’t so bad in hindsight.
