Travis Henry Held On $400K Bail
October 6th, 2008 | by HG |
Former NFL running back Travis Henry appeared in a Denver court Monday for a hearing stemming from his Sept. 30 arrest on suspicion of knowingly and intentionally conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine. Henry is being held on $400,000 bail and faces a minimum of 10 years in prison if convicted.
Travis Henry only needs to come up with $40k to get out of jail, the same amount that’s owed to Henry by the person that snitched on him. Life’s funny like that. Trafficks Henry will have to follow some strict rules if he’s able to make bail.
From The Associated Press:
Henry has not entered a plea. If released on bail, Henry will be electronically monitored, must submit to urinalysis, maintain employment, and have no contact with his co-defendant and witnesses.
Henry has to maintain employment if he’s released on bail? How many people are gonna hire a guy wearing an electronic monitoring device? Oh, nevermind.. The Cincinnati Bengals’ front office, despite protest from Marvin Lewis, has probably already contacted Henry. It’s a good thing Cincy already played the Dallas Cowboys. I’d hate to see Dallas Safety Roy Williams get a 15-yard penalty for tackling Travis Henry by pulling him down by the back of his ankle bracelet.
