As an expert in this, dude you are way off on your numbers. there is noone that spends that amount of money on sponsorship in nascar. They would if it was for stadium rights but not this. Army spend 11 million for 20 something races in 09. due the math hun.

i’m no nascar expert but you’re facts are a little off. please read this carefully

KFC was in the talks for series sponsorship, 30mil a year for 10 years. the writer of this article points out, it’s a good deal seeing as primary team sponsorship would cost you about the same thing. The quote is from Nascar.com, and is linked in the story above.

$30 million for the entire Busch series. not a team. do your reseach. also, if you look categorically at the cost of reach and exposure ascertained by a NASCAR sponsorhip and factor that ROI into your marketing mix you will see that the US armed forces made a wise choice in advertising here (if not just jumping in during the upward trend of young male viewership).
