The Plan To Bring The NFL To Los Angeles

Ed Roski Jr. is unveiling his plan to bring the NFL to Los Angeles.. He even has a fancy little website. I don’t consider a team playing football near the intersections of the 60 and 57 freeways a Los Angeles football team, but that’s not the point right now.

As you can see from the video, Roski’s plan looks great, but who’s paying for it? An $820 million subsidy from the City of Industry was blocked by state lawmakers meaning Roski the billionaire will either have to pay for the development himself, or find some other suckers another city to pick up the tab. I want professional football in Los Angeles as much as the next man, but I’m not down with fat cats taking advantage of the system when they want/need a stadium.
