The day was already a good day by Philadelphia Eagles fans standards. The New York Giants walked into Texas Stadium and handled the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants winning isn’t a good thing, but it’s the lesser of two evils.. And then, fresh off the defeat, the popcornless Terrell Owens answered questions from reporters.. And he started crying.
“This isn’t about Tony. You guys can point the finger at him. You can talk about the vacations. And if you do that, it’s wrong. It’s not fair. It’s really not fair. That’s my teammate. That’s my quarterback. If you guys do that, it’s not fair. We lost as a team.“
Terrell Owens cried. The same guy that once said something to the effect of “hey, I wasn’t the guy throwing up in the Super Bowl.” No, but he was the guy crying after the Giants beat the Cowboys. He’s right about one thing.. Don’t pin this on Tony Romo and his trip to Mexico with Jessica Simpson. Tony didn’t have a great game, but the Cowboys were out coached in the second half.
How about giving Marion Barber a couple of carries? He was a monster in the first half. And unlike the New England Patriots, when the Cowboys big weapon was taken away, they didn’t have a backup plan. It’s gonna be funny to see Cowboys players in front of Lambeau Field scalping the NFC Championship game tickets Jerry Jones gave them.
