With the season and his career as Washington Redskins head coach coming to an end Jim Zorn has decided to empty out his playbook. The same playbook that Daniel Snyder stripped him of earlier in the season. After Zorn’s botched fake field goal attempt against the New York Giants I’d be surprised if Snyder let’s Zorn have an office for the last two weeks of the season. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Snyder left the owner’s box and fired Zorn on the sideline after one of the worst play calls I’ve ever seen. Read the full story

The Philadelphia Eagles completed the season sweep of the Washington Redskins with a 27-24 victory at Lincoln Financial Field in a game that Washington fans feel ended with an illegal play. Quarterback Jason Campbell threw an incomplete pass to Santana Moss on fourth and one with just over a minute remaining to turn the ball over on downs. Campbell was slammed to the ground by Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker after releasing the ball prompting Fox broadcasters to say there should’ve been a personal foul called. The Washington Redskins are a disaster on and off the field. The team’s condition has brought Hall of Famers John Riggins and Joe Theisman to exchange words. Since they’re in ‘Wait ’til next year’ mode the Skins have nothing left to do but quit on their coach and start sideline brawls.

The NFC East took a division wide ass whooping Sunday with the Giants getting stomped in New Orleans, the Eagles failing to show up in Oakland, and the Redskins losing to the winless Chiefs. The Dallas Cowboys had a bye week but they’re the Cowboys which is a loss in itself. Read the full story

A long running fantasy of a lot of men is a group of scantily-clad hot chicks involved in a pillow fight. Thankfully the sideline eye candy in Washington has brought the fantasy to life. Somebody was lucky enough to get a behind the scenes look at the Washington Redskins cheerleaders taking part in more than some light-hearted sparring. Read the full story

The Washington Redskins single-handedly ended the Lions 19-game losing streak although all the credit will go to Detroit for rallying together for the 19-14 victory at Ford Field. I’ll give new head coach Jim Schwartz credit for getting his team on the field because that’s all he needed to do. Sorry to rain on the Lions parade but the win says more about the state of the ‘Skins (Owner, coaching, and players) than it does about Detroit. Read the full story

Punter Hunter Smith got the Washington Redskins on the board against the New York Giants when he ran a fake field goal eight yards for a touchdown. Of course the Redskins still went on to lose the game 23-17, but Hunter Smith gets to add to his career highlight reel. Read the full story
