Anquan Boldin has wanted out of Arizona for a little over a year; ever since Larry Fitzgerald dotted the “i” on his four year, $40 million dollar contract. The Cardinals announced they’re taking offers for the three-time Pro Bowler Boldin, but whoever acquires him will have to meet his and agent Drew Rosenhaus’ $10mil a year price tag.

The Dallas Cowboys made the only significant trade deadline move by acquiring wide receiver Roy Williams from the Detroit Lions for first, third, and sixth round picks in the 2009 draft. The trade wasn’t completely one-sided.. The Lions threw in a seventh round draft pick.
Williams is a good player, but I don’t think there’s a receiver in the league worth a first, third, and sixth round pick. Former Cowboy and current member of the NFL Network Deion Sanders didn’t like the trade for numerous reasons. Read the full story
