When Kevin Garnett and Stephon Marbury were teamed together with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1996 many thought they were the building blocks of dynasty. Garnett was a straight outta high school 6-11 freak of nature with an inexhaustible motor. Marbury was a one-and-done college baller and slick NYC point guard. The duo made it to the playoffs in their first season together but were eliminated 3-0 by the Houston Rockets. They returned to the playoffs in 1998 and pushed the second-seeded Seattle Supersonics to a Game 5, and showed signs of the budding dynasty.

Stephon Marbury seems to be doing all the things necessary to land back in the NBA next season. He’s showing up at a Knicks game and sitting in the wrong seats, and making more shirtless videos. Stephon Marbury may or may not be headed to Greece or the Boston Celtics, but that hasn’t stopped him from pushing his line of affordable sneakers. In an effort to make his shoes available to the masses since Steve and Barry’s folded up Steph is taking his kicks online.
