NBA fans that wanted to see how Ricky Rubio held up against the league’s competition will have to wait two years according to reports out of Spain. Rubio will honor the final two years of his DKV Joventut contract, leaving the Minnesota Timberwolves at the altar.

Ricky Rubio, the 18-year-old Spanish point guard, may not be joining the NBA for a couple of years if his father is to be believed. After falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the fifth slot, Europe sounds like a better option to Rubio than the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Read the full story

Team USA pulled off one of the biggest upsets in U.S. soccer history by defeating the #1 ranked Spaniards 2-0 in the Confederation Cup semifinals. Spain was riding a 35-game unbeaten streak, a 15-game winning streak, and had superior talent, but Jozy Altidore changed all of that at the 27 minute mark. Read the full story
