What more can be said about the greatest NBA first-round series, and one of the league’s all-time playoff match-ups? Seven overtimes total including triple and double overtime games. The Baby Bulls became young men and Boston showed the heart of a champion.
So many things happened in the series – bad calls, near fights, and buzzer beaters to name a few – that it leaves me only one way to describe what I witnessed.
Yeah.. That sums it up. Other than the being penetrated by “it” part.
I don’t know how the playoffs get any better from here. Even if we get the LeBron-Kobe, Cleveland-LA Finals that everyone thinks we’re gonna get, the series won’t be able to hold the jock of Bulls-Celtics. Which isn’t really a diss since Bull-Celtics is instant classic, first-ballot Hall of Fame.
