The phrase “A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do” applies to taking a leak on the side of a building, hooking up with a Brooke Hundleyesque chick at the club, and spending the power bill money on new J’s. In the case of Alex Rodriguez and Brett Favre it means blowing your nose on national televison. Both came up big for their teams on Sunday and both gave the viewers at home something to enjoy. Tony Kornheiser and Brad Childress look alike because they share the same balding pattern, wear glasses, and work with black guys. And because all white guys look the same. Ron Artest made a lot of people laugh during last season’s playoffs when he said Mike Chatfield was the best player he ever played against. He also said Brandon Roy is better than Kobe Bryant and LeBron James which made Artest’s statement seem even more out there. Read the full story

Standing face-to-face with Claudia Jordan made me feel how the Dodgers must’ve felt in Game 3 of the LCS when Cliff Lee took the mound for the Phillies. I knew I was over-matched and in turn I delivered the interview equivalent of a weak ground-ball to second. Thankfully, Claudia Jordan was dealing.
Jordan arrived at the London Hotel in West Hollywood looking incredible as usual. She and numerous celebs were on hand for ESPN the Magazine’s Body Issue party. Claudia gave me a few minutes of her time and let me know what she looks for in a man, and she drops some info that’ll make John Salley blush. Read the full story

Meet Kyle Orton and Jeff Reed. Two NFL players that enjoy liquor in two very different ways. The Neckbeard is a fun-drinker; he’ll take regrettable pictures like pretending to service his buddy, but all in all he doesn’t mean any harm. ESPN the Magazine’s “Body Issue” hits newsstands Oct. 9, and features more than 30 male and female athletes showing off their money makers. So far ESPN has been keeping a lid on who will be in the Body Issue, but USA Today is reporting Nascar’s Carl Edwards, surfer Claire Bevilacqua, U.S. Olympic softball player Jessica Mendoza, and Adrian Peterson are among the chosen.
