Tony Kornheiser and Brad Childress look alike because they share the same balding pattern, wear glasses, and work with black guys. And because all white guys look the same. Standing face-to-face with Claudia Jordan made me feel how the Dodgers must’ve felt in Game 3 of the LCS when Cliff Lee took the mound for the Phillies. I knew I was over-matched and in turn I delivered the interview equivalent of a weak ground-ball to second. Thankfully, Claudia Jordan was dealing.
Jordan arrived at the London Hotel in West Hollywood looking incredible as usual. She and numerous celebs were on hand for ESPN the Magazine’s Body Issue party. Claudia gave me a few minutes of her time and let me know what she looks for in a man, and she drops some info that’ll make John Salley blush. Read the full story

The NFC East took a division wide ass whooping Sunday with the Giants getting stomped in New Orleans, the Eagles failing to show up in Oakland, and the Redskins losing to the winless Chiefs. The Dallas Cowboys had a bye week but they’re the Cowboys which is a loss in itself. Read the full story

Plaxico Burress is serving a two-year prison sentence because of the bad decision to bring a handgun to a nightclub. The only route he’s running now is the daily routine of life behind bars.
Being limited to visits from family and friends is gonna be tough on Burress, but he has the support of Harry Carson and other retired players while he’s in prison. Read the full story

The Washington Redskins single-handedly ended the Lions 19-game losing streak although all the credit will go to Detroit for rallying together for the 19-14 victory at Ford Field. I’ll give new head coach Jim Schwartz credit for getting his team on the field because that’s all he needed to do. Sorry to rain on the Lions parade but the win says more about the state of the ‘Skins (Owner, coaching, and players) than it does about Detroit. Read the full story

The NFL season is here and there are always two things that are guaranteed to happen after the first kick-off. People will overreact to early season results and a team will play the “We’ll move to Los Angeles” card.
