Herschel Walker was pounding the sides of Greg Nagy’s head and punishing his body causing referee Troy Waugh to stop the fight at 2:17 in the third round giving the former Heisman trophy winner a victory in his MMA debut. Walker wasn’t in against the baddest man in the game but he looked good for a 47-year-old. So good that Al Davis is probably drawing up a contract for him right now. Read the full story

He tweeted up Kobe and the NBA Finals, he’s been mentioned in trade rumors, and now he claims he wants to fight 7-2 mixed-martial artist Hong Man Choi. Brett Rogers knocked out Andrei Arlovski in Saturday night’s Strikeforce heavyweight matchup to place himself in the conversation with the top heavyweights. Rogers has been critical of Kimbo Slice, calling him garbage, and this knockout Arlovski proves he’s no YouTube sensation. Read the full story

Jose Canseco is desperate for attention and money and will do anything to get either of them. He’s written books outing steroid users in baseball, boxed against Vai Sikahema and Danny Bonaduce, and now he’s trying his hand at MMA.

Lyoto Machida of Brazil knocked out Rashad Evans at UFC 98 to become the new light heavyweight champion. It was hard to distinguish the first round from ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”, but in the second round Machida got busy and dropped Evans at 3:57 in the second round.
