LenDale White and Chris Johnson are the running back duo for the Tennessee Titans known as “Smash and Dash”, even though the Panthers’ Johnathan Stewart and Deanglo Williams tried to jack the title. It looks like they might be able to claim the name after all because Chris Johnson IS changing HIS nickname to “Every Coach’s Dream.”
A little over a week and a half ago Pro Football Talk told us about the Tennessee Titans’ LenDale White feeling amazing after trimming some weight in the offseason.
There were some good quotes from the story including LenDale saying “I took time off, too much time off. I’m not saying I wasn’t working because I was. But I don’t think I pushed myself as hard as I could.”

Running back LenDale White of the Tennessee Titans might not be the go-to back on his team, but he’s becoming the go-to quote in the NFL. He’s already let us know that Ohio St. and Notre Dame suck, he called out the coaching staff about his number of touches, and he called Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams of the Carolina Panthers “Identity” and “Theft” after the duo adopted LenDale’s “Smash and Dash” nickname for themselves.
