Tony Romo should be at home blowing up Jessica Simpson’s cell phone with voicemails and text messages begging her to come back. That way their relationship could deflect some of the heat Romo’s taking for his on the field performance. Tony looked great against Tampa Bay in the first game of the season but his play has slipped and the Cowboys stand at 2-2 at the quarter mark.
It seems like not to long ago fans of the Chicago Bears were pumped up because Jay Cutler was in and Kyle Orton was out. One game down in the 2009 season and the joke’s on da Bears. Orton pulled off a miracle against the Bengals while Jay Cutler went to Green Bay and threw four interceptions in a 21-15 Sunday night loss. Kenny Smith will turn 44 on Sunday, but Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, and the TNT crew got the party started Thursday night. First, they clowned The Jet with a tiny Carolina cake while breaking out a nice-sized Michigan cake for Chris Webber who wasn’t even there. Then they gave Kenny the gift any Tarheel would want.. A Duke Blue Devils jersey.
