Roger Federer defeated Robin Soderling 6-1, 7-6 (1), 6-4 to win the French Open, complete the career Grand Slam, and tie Pete Sampras at 14 major titles. The highlight of the match was when a nutty Barcelona fan named Jimmy Jump ran on the court and rubbed a flag in Federer’s face. Read the full story

Men pretend to be in to the competition in women’s tennis even though everybody knows we watch it to see the ladies running around in skirts and shorts as they bounce and grunt. Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams are two of the more popular women on tour, but both have been eliminated from the French Open. Who do we stare at (root for) now that Sharapova, the Williams sisters, and Ana Ivanovic are no longer in contention? Read the full story

Serena Williams picked up a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez in the third round of the French Open on Saturday, but her post match comments will be remembered more than her win.
Serena said she doesn’t like the circus around her, and that she feels like “one of those girls on a reality show that has all the drama, and everyone in the house hates them because no matter what they do, like, drama follows them,” and then started some drama by letting the cheat word slip out.
