Miles Austin has Dallas Cowboys fans saying Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, and Patrick Crayton who? Austin saved the Cowboys’ asses with a two touchdown effort in Kansas City. One area Miles needs to work on to get to TO’s level is touchdown celebrations. Terrell can still dunk over the crossbar. Miles Austin has to settle for a layup. Read the full story

Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett is probably better known for his Youtube work than his play on the field. Bennett’s caught four passes for 40 yards this season prompting some “Romo doesn’t look for Bennett” talk. Martellus joked about the situation at a charity event which should put the issue to rest.. Tony Romo should be at home blowing up Jessica Simpson’s cell phone with voicemails and text messages begging her to come back. That way their relationship could deflect some of the heat Romo’s taking for his on the field performance. Tony looked great against Tampa Bay in the first game of the season but his play has slipped and the Cowboys stand at 2-2 at the quarter mark.

Felix Jones is part of a running back trio in Dallas and got the start Monday night because of an injury to Marion Barber. This was particularly bad news for Carolina Panthers safety Charles Godfrey. He attempted to tackle Jones, but got juked into roller skates and disappeared from the television. Read the full story

I’m a big fan of athletes being on Facebook, Twitter, or any means of direct communication with their fans. They can give ESPN and beat writers the cookie cutter answers, and then open up in the privacy of the social media site of their choosing. But this isn’t always a good thing.
Take Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett. Marty B has had ups and downs with YouTube. He got in trouble for his Cowboys Rap, but has bounced back nicely with a Cap’n Crunch Rap. Until Now.
Marty B’s latest offering is titled “The Black Olympics” and features him and his brother Michael of the Seattle Seahawks. The video sets black YouTube users back 1000 years. Read the full story

The Dallas Cowboys‘ new stadium is sitting on a goldmine of natural gas although language in the contracts between the team and owners of the gas beneath the stadium prevent any drilling. Recent earthquakes in North Texas are believed to be caused by natural gas drilling. There are worries that drilling beneath Cowboys Stadium would cracks or sinking. Read the full story
