Craig Bolerjack is a play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports and the Utah Jazz. Bolerjack was working for the former last night when he decided to take the broadcast on a brief detour. Cameras caught a fan with a sign that read “Hawks taste like chicken.” After rehashing the “Everything tastes like chicken” bit Craig took the joke one step further to the delight of his partner Ron Boone. I’m a big fan of athletes being on Facebook, Twitter, or any means of direct communication with their fans. They can give ESPN and beat writers the cookie cutter answers, and then open up in the privacy of the social media site of their choosing. But this isn’t always a good thing.
