The Seattle Seahawks are wrapping up pitiful five or six win season in a perfectly dysfunctional way. Wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh and former NFL quarterback and Seahawks radio analyst Hugh Millen are trading words over the team’s lack of offense. TJ is obviously frustrated sitting on a losing team that’s making vacation plans as his old team gets ready for a playoff run. Hugh Millen is a convenient outlet for his anger.
HMZ’s mouth have contributed to his 2009 problems in more than one way. He boasted about teaming up with Matt Hasselbeck in a July Sporting News interview and made some very bold predictions. Read the full story

Stephen Colbert rallied the Colbert Nation to raise more than $300,000 to save the U.S. speedskating team but Olympic gold medalist Shani Davis didn’t care for the sponsorship. He called Colbert a jerk in an interview with the Associated Press but of course the late-night talk show host had the last word. Read the full story

Shaquille O’Neal is doing everything possible to keep himself in the news everyday until the 2009-10 NBA season begins. He tweeted up Kobe and the NBA Finals, he’s been mentioned in trade rumors, and now he claims he wants to fight 7-2 mixed-martial artist Hong Man Choi.
