“The Peninsula” is Qatar’s self-proclaimed “leading English daily” and I’m sure it’s a fine paper, but they’re either unfamiliar with Brett Favre or their sports editor is a Packers fan. The paper previewed the upcoming Laureus World Sports Awards which they call the Sports Oscars. Brett Favre hasn’t made his play or not to play decision public yet but he did release these photos of his bruised body following the Vikings NFC Championship game loss to the New Orleans Saints. After seeing the pics you’d think it would be easy for Brett to walk away.

Brett Favre is singing “Pants on the Ground” and having it remixed and Prince cut his worst song ever a fight song for the Minnesota Vikings but so far the only people reppin’ the Saints with songs are the team’s fans. Read the full story

“Pants on the Ground” by General Larry Platt is one of the worst songs you’ll ever hear but as it did with William Hung American Idol has made a star out of the man. Platt’s song landed him on The View and made its way into the Minnesota Vikings locker room via Percy Harvin and Brett Favre.
The tubes are having fun with the song too. There’s a Brett Favre Pants on the Ground Remix with footage of NFL players with their pants on the ground, and DJ Steve Porter did what he does with Platt’s original. Read the full story

Chicago Bears fans have learned in one season why Denver Broncos fans were so frustrated with Jay Cutler. On one play he looks like he’s ready to enter the upper echelon of quarterbacks. The next play he looks like scrub. Bears fans hailed Cutler as the savior when the team traded Kyle Orton and valuable picks to get him, but they were burning his jersey by the middle of September.
Cutler likely won a few fans back on Monday night. He hit Devin Aromashodu for a 38-yard game winning touchdown in overtime to beat the Minnesota Vikings. He’ll probably give back all the good will he’s earned next week. Read the full story
