Top Rank promoter Bob Arum says the fight between his client Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Floyd “Money” Mayweather is off because the two sides can’t agree on performance-enhancing drug testing. Mayweather wants strict Olympic-style blood testing while Manny would prefer for urine tests but he’s willing to do limited blood tests.
Pacquiao’s opposition to having his blood drawn close to fight time isn’t new. Manny said in a 2005 interview that having his blood taken made him weak when he lost to Erik Morales. Here’s the video. Seems believable to me. Read the full story
