The Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the Atlanta Falcons 34-7 on Sunday while allowing Michael Vick to rebuild his worth as a quarterback. The crowd in the Georgia Dome greeted Vick with cheers and boos but there was loud applause when he ran and threw for touchdowns and when he left the field. Vick doesn’t have the blazing speed he possessed three years ago but he showed he can still whip it down the field on a pass to Reggie Brown. Overall the day was a success for Michael Vick. Let’s see if the Eagles keep him in the mix or if this was a one time homecoming deal. Read the full story

The Washington Redskins are a disaster on and off the field. The team’s condition has brought Hall of Famers John Riggins and Joe Theisman to exchange words. Since they’re in ‘Wait ’til next year’ mode the Skins have nothing left to do but quit on their coach and start sideline brawls.
The quitting on the coach is already in progress from management and player standpoints. The sideline fighting went into effect after LaRon Landry late hit Falcons QB Matt Ryan out-of-bounds. Pushing and shoving followed with Ryan calmly pulling Landry away from the situation.. He should have grabbed DeAngelo Hall. The former Falcon got into with Atlanta head coach Mike Smith and then Albert Haynesworth mixed in for some reason. Read the full story

Michael Vick has been suspended by the NFL indefinitely, and a timetable for him to return to the league is impossible to set. Even after Roger Goodell clears Vick to play there still has to be a team willing to sign Michael and the circus that comes with him. Read the full story

• Former Atlanta Falcon Jamal Anderson arrested on felony cocaine charges
Former Atlanta Falcons running back and soon to be former NFL analyst for ESPN’s First Take Jamal Anderson was arrested late Saturday night in Atlanta on cocaine and marijuana possession charges. Anderson was in the Peachtree Tavern in Buckhead with another man when the two were picked up by the police. Read the full story
