When the story broke a few weeks ago about athletes buying HGH online Evan Fields Evander Holyfield denied any connection between himself and the online pharmacy. Then the former heavy weight champion said he was gonna conduct his own investigation  into the situation, kinda like O.J. searching for the “real” killer(s). Now it turns out Holyfield did have contact with Applied Pharmacy although he claims the drug he got from the pharmacy was to help battle a hormonal problem. If that wasn’t enough Mr. Fields had this to say
“Somebody high up in boxing mentioned to me that there was this other fighter who did steroids and I should too because it wasn’t illegal in boxing yet,” he said. “I said, I’m not going to do that. I ain’t no cheater. I was the undisputed cruiserweight champion and I was in the Olympics. If I started taking steroids, people would say, ‘He cheated at everything.’ But this guy told me, Well, [Mike] Tyson is doing it, you should, too. I said, I don’t care if Tyson is doing it, I’m not.”
Whoa Evander.. That’s hitting below the belt. Just because you’re in hot water doesn’t mean you start throwing dirt on other people. That would be like an NBA player being interviewed by the police and just randomly blurting out “Shaq pays women to keep quiet”. Not that anything like that would ever happen, I’m just sayin.
