ROGER GOODELL AIN’T BULLSHITTIN

April 10th, 2007 | by HG |

The NFL has finally dropped the hammer on two of it’s biggest screw ups. Tennessee Titan Adam “Pacman” Jones has received a year long suspension, and Cincinnati Bengal Chris Henry has been suspended 8 games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. The two seemed to be playing a game of “anything you can do, I can do more illegally.” Pacman has had 10 incidents that have required the police to interview him since joining the NFL. Henry has been arrested 4 times in less than a year and a half. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had this to say:

“It is a privilege to represent the NFL, not a right, these players and all members of our league have to make the right choices and decisions in their conduct on a consistent basis.”

It’ll be interesting to see if the NFLPA has anything to say about the suspensions although many of their members have been calling for tougher penalties for bad behavior.
