I'm not saying Spinks won, but the fight was close and could have gone either way. The fundamental object of boxing is to hit and not to get hit. Taylor didn't do much of either. I used to like Lampley, but I've lost all respect for him. He and Merchant don't appreciate boxing anymore obviously.
