Rapper Rick Ross Defends LeBron From Michael Jordan

Miami rapper Rick Ross (aka @RickyRozay) is defending the new-look Miami Heat against criticism from the G.O.A.T. himself Michael Jordan. Ross is no stranger to taking on major foes, as a beef with 50 Cent proved, and in a new video he throws a few shots at Jordan.

As most of you know, pretty much the whole world has chimed in with criticisms of LeBron James for joining Dwyane Wade and the Heat along with Chris Bosh and several NBA AARP members. I’m sure LeBron didn’t give a damn about most people talking mess, but when Jordan took a little shot it had to hurt. Ross isn’t having it though, saying Jordan should give LeBron a pass, much like he says the world gave him a pass for his “JumpMan” line of shoes and apparel, baseball and more.

Ross has talked basketball during several recent interviews and even predicted the Heat defeating the Lakers in the Finals on air with the Los Angeles Leakers of Power 106.

I personally feel like most of the veterans taking shots at the Heat are chewing on sour grapes, but Jordan is an exception. He didn’t join a proven winner like Magic or Kobe did with the Los Angeles Lakers or fail to bring a title home like Charles Barkley. He stuck it out in Chicago and built a winning blueprint that guys like Diet Jordan (Kobe) still follow to this day. With that said, winning cures everything in America, so if the Heat start collecting titles, all this LeBron backlash will quietly fade away.
