The Oakland Raiders handed the Philadelphia Eagles their annual bad loss that starts the “Get rid of Reid and McNabb talk.” People will throw dirt on Philly but they’ll work their way into the playoff mix by the end of the season. It’s the Andy Reid way.
The odds makers set the line at 15, and the Giants started the day by losing to the Saints. Everything looked good for the guys in green right? Wrong. Philly should’ve known the gods were smiling on the Raiders when a pigeon lined up for Oakland on a kickoff.
The pigeon played better than the Eagles did all day and it could probably tackle better than Asante Samuel. Philadelphia should’ve focused on the opponent instead of the pre-game hype and the scoreboard. The Giants losing didn’t mean Oakland would roll over. Especially since Antonio Pierce called them out last week. By the way, that was brilliant Mr. Pierce.

I’ve been watching my Raiders every game this year. I’m dedicated to my boys and take a lot of guff from fake fans all over the place. A true fan stays with his team through thick and thin. I’ve been praying that my boys would reveal their secret weapon, and it seems that Al Davis and Coach Cable have unleashed The Ultimate Power in the NFL. The Silver and Black Pigeon! GO RAIDERS!
