Brandon Jacobs hates the Dallas Cowboys. He popped off about about Tony Romo in the offseason and reaffirmed his hatred for Dallas just before the Giants beat the Cowboys in the first game at the new Cowboy Stadium. I thought Jacobs felt the way he does because of the division rivalry and some unknown beef between him and the Dallas D. I was wrong. This goes back to his childhood.
From Dallas News:
“If I play for the Giants, or if I play for Buffalo, or if I play for anybody, my hatred for the Cowboys will remain the same because as a kid I just never liked the Cowboys. No one ever did anything to me. It’s just that I took the team that a lot of people loved and that was the one I disliked.”
The Cowboys are/were America’s team and Brandon Jacobs hates the Cowboys, which can only mean Jacobs hates America. Maybe that’s why Pops wants to “get a bat on his ass.”
