Miroslav Klose Flips as Germany Pounds Argentina

Germany turned their 2010 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal match into a highly televised scrimmage as they manhandled Diego Maradona’s Argentinian squad 4-0. Thomas Muller scored for the Germans in the third minute and although Argentina showed flashes of brilliance they never recovered from the early deficit. Miroslav Klose provided the final shovel-full of dirt with his goal in the 89th minute. He did a flip after the score and there’s no way he was showboating. The goal was Klose’s 14th career World Cup goal leaving him one behind all-time leader Ronaldo of Brazil.
