A little while back Bob Griese got in trouble for saying Juan Pablo Montoya wasn’t on the leader board because he stopped for tacos. As it turns out, Montoya does like tacos, but Griese was suspended anyways.
Mike Patrick showed his sense of humor about the situation in Saturday night’s USC-Arizona State game. Coming out of a commercial break Patrick did read a NASCAR promo and then explained the only way Jimmie Johnson won’t win his fourth consecutive Sprint Cup title.
Mike Patrick’s gonna take a lot of heat from the groups that represent people that enjoy a midday meal. And at least 20 to 30 more people in this country eat lunch than speak Spanish so ESPN/ABC have better suspend Patrick to prevent any backlash.
