Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is so passionate about his team that often times he comes off like a fan with really good seats rather than the owner of an NBA franchise. Watching the San Antonio Spurs eliminate his Mavs from the playoffs Thursday night drove Cubes to assault a Gatorade jug. He have the skills of Carlos Zambrano but he’ll get there with a few more first round exits.
After the game Mark displayed his inner LeBron James to a TNT cameraman that caught him sulking.
Cuban isolated himself in a small room inside the visiting locker room at the AT&T Center. He sat in a chair with his head down for several minutes before finally emerging.
He wasn’t happy with a TNT cameraman in the locker room whom he had noticed filming him. Cuban told a Mavericks media relations person to obtain the tape from the cameraman.
After the depression and anger wear off I expect Cuban and the Mavericks to get busy in the 2010 free agent pool. Make Dirk Nowitzki the second option behind Dwyane Wade or LeBron James and the Mavs get to the second round of the playoffs easily..
