Video of Dewayne Wise's catch to save Mark Buehrle's Perfect Game

Mark Buehrle Throws Perfect Game for Chicago White Sox

Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox threw his second no-hitter, and first perfect game Thursday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field. The Sox knocked off the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0 behind Buehrle’s perfect arm, but the biggest play of the game was made by Sox outfielder DeWayne Wise. Manager Ozzie Guillen brought in Wise for defense to start the ninth inning and the decision paid off immediately when Wise robbed Gabe Kapler of a ninth inning, perfect game breaking home run.

Cleaner version:

There always seems to be a huge, memorable moment when a guy throws a no-hitter, or a college basketball team wins the national championship. Buehrle’s perfect game will be remembered for Wise’s catch as much as Mark Buehrle’s incredible feat.
