Marcus Allen Still Has Nothing to Say About the Raiders

The Oakland Raiders picked up their second victory of the season on Sunday with a 13-9 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Oakland pass rush was tremendous and the offense showed they can score a touchdown when the other team isn’t trying to tackle.

Raiders legend Marcus Allen is keeping his eye on the team from afar. And it has to be tough. He won Super Bowl MVP in 1984 when the Raiders beat the Redskins, but was jettisoned to Kansas City in 1993 after a fallout with Al Davis and a lot of time on the bench. Allen kind of spoke to us about the Silver and Black but didn’t want to pass any judgments about his old team.

It’s beyond weird to me that a man can win Super Bowl MVP for a team and then have no relationship with the team when he’s done playing. That’s all on Al Davis and the Raiders. Marcus didn’t want to say it but Al has to go for the Oakland franchise to prosper again.

Here’s Marcus Allen dominating Super Bowl XVIII:
