Shaquille O’Neal and Ashley Cole both had highly publicized split-ups from their wives. Neither man divorced leaving the door open for the marriages to be saved, but the two are going about it in very different ways.

The Big Reconciler filed for divorce in 2007, but it looks like he’s had a change of heart. Shaq and the woman he accused of ripping him off were seen out in about in the Phoenix area, and looking lovey dovey. Shaq and Shaunie were spotted at the Wildlife World Zoo, and they attended Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night charity event. It looks like Shaq is taking cheaper to keep ‘er to heart.

Ashley Cole’s gonna have to put in more work than a trip to the zoo and a fancy dinner. Cheryl Cole is having a hard time forgiving him for cheating, and has placed a six month sex ban on their marriage… The ban seems like it would lead to more of the crime it’s trying to prevent, but what do I know? AC has planned a Saint Tropez getaway in hopes of bringing back his sex life and presumably, to work things out with his wife.

I’m gonna give ShaqnShaunie an 85% chance of saving their marriage. What’s a few pennies stashed away when you’re making $20 million+ a year? As for the Coles, I’ll give them a 35% chance. For one, European soccer players know how to party, and two, Ashley’s gonna get tired of Cheryl’s booty ban and start looking to score elsewhere.
