John Madden leaving Sunday night football to spend more time with his family.

Multiple sources are reporting that Hall of Fame coach, broadcasting legend, and video game icon John Madden is hanging up his Brett Favre lovin’ microphone.

Relax gamers. There will still be Madden for Playstation and Xbox.. Big John is simply stepping out of the booth after 30 years. And I’m gonna miss him. We’re all gonna miss him. Even if you hate the character he’s become, you’re gonna miss being able to make fun of the old guy.

So who’s the new team? Collinsworth and Michaels? We’ll see.
