Chicago Bears fans have learned in one season why Denver Broncos fans were so frustrated with Jay Cutler. On one play he looks like he’s ready to enter the upper echelon of quarterbacks. The next play he looks like scrub. Bears fans hailed Cutler as the savior when the team traded Kyle Orton and valuable picks to get him, but they were burning his jersey by the middle of September.
Cutler likely won a few fans back on Monday night. He hit Devin Aromashodu for a 38-yard game winning touchdown in overtime to beat the Minnesota Vikings. He’ll probably give back all the good will he’s earned next week.
