• Former Atlanta Falcon Jamal Anderson arrested on felony cocaine charges
Former Atlanta Falcons running back and soon to be former NFL analyst for ESPN’s First Take Jamal Anderson was arrested late Saturday night in Atlanta on cocaine and marijuana possession charges. Anderson was in the Peachtree Tavern in Buckhead with another man when the two were picked up by the police.

Police found a suspected marijuana cigarette in Anderson’s pocket, local reports said. Another man with Anderson was also arrested. Police said both men were in possession of cocaine, according to the reports.
“We just learned of this situation, and it is not appropriate for us to comment until we have more information,” said George McNeilly, senior director of communications at ESPN, in a statement.
The former Dirty Bird caught with a dirty bird.. But since possessing any amount of cocaine is a felony in Georgia I’m guessing Jamal Anderson had his personal party supply and not brick stashed in his jacket. From what I’m reading Jamal faces 5-30 years and fines for possession of a schedule II drug.
